The Foster Care Connections Mentoring Program works with teens age 16-20 who have little to no family connection and has been in foster care or residential placement for over 1 year. We link these youth with adults who have personal experience with foster care, either as a foster youth or as a foster parent. The program is funded through the Community Foundation of Southeastern Massachusetts - Community Foundation Discretionary Fund.
The goal of the program is to provide youth in care with a support system that will enable them to have improved outcomes upon leaving the foster care system.
